Mitchell Edward Williams is an Australian composer, instrumentalist and producer working across acoustic and electronic forms.
Active since 2006, his practice encompasses composition, synthesis, improvisation, recorded sound and performance.
His electronic work appears under the name Apeirogon, while Septentriōnēs explores solo guitar, improvisation and textural electronics through slowly evolving forms.
Williams has presented work at the Northern Centre for Contemporary Art, Darwin International Film Festival, Melbourne Winter Festival and independent experimental-music events. His screen work includes the recurring theme for Levin A. Diatschenko’s feature film The Undying Swan.
Alongside his artistic practice, he offers tuition in composition, performance and music theory.
